Returns and Refunds Policy

Returns Notice
Margaret Perth does not offer free returns for change-of-mind purchases. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind purchases are the customer's responsibility. This policy does not limit your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Change of Mind Returns
If you're not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item includes all original parts and components.
  • The packaging is in the same condition it was received in, as far as possible.
  • The product has not been used beyond what would be reasonable for inspection.
  • The product has not been damaged through misuse.
  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility.
  • Returns are processed within 7 business days of receipt and inspection. We
  • reserve the right to refuse a change-of-mind return if the item appears used, damaged, incomplete, or not in its original condition.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Faulty, Damaged, or Not as Described
If your product arrives faulty, damaged, or significantly different from its description, you're entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law.

Major failure: You may choose a refund or a replacement.

Minor defect: We may choose to repair, replace, or refund the item within a reasonable timeframe.

If your product has a fault or defect, please contact us at support@margaretperth.com with:

Your order number
A clear description of the issue
Photos of the defect, damage, or incorrect item.
We will cover reasonable return shipping costs for items that are proven to be faulty, damaged, or not as described.

There is no fixed timeframe for reporting a fault. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply for a reasonable period, depending on the nature and price of the product.

How to Request a Return
For all returns, send an email to support@margaretperth.com with the following information:

  • Your order number
  • Your reason for return
  • A photo of the product, if damaged, faulty, or incorrect.
  • Your full name and address
  • Once we receive your request, we'll review it and provide the correct return instructions. Please do not send returns to the sender's address on the packaging. The return address will be confirmed once your request has been approved.

Order Cancellation
You may request cancellation of your order before it has shipped. As our system is automated, orders are processed shortly after being placed. If your order has already shipped or is in transit, cancellation may no longer be possible until the goods have been delivered.

To request a cancellation, please contact us at support@margaretperth.com as soon as possible.

Orders in Transit
As some Margaret Perth products are shipped internationally, delivery times may vary and are outside our direct control. If your order is already in transit, cancellation may not be possible. Please wait until delivery and, if necessary, request a return.

You may notify us in advance of your intention to return the product. Providing delivery confirmation may help speed up the process.

Refunds
Change-of-mind refunds: processed within 14 days of receipt and inspection of the returned products. Original shipping costs are not refunded, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds for faulty, damaged, or not-as-described products: Processed as soon as possible after the issue has been confirmed. We will not require the product to be returned before issuing a refund where this is not practicable.

All refunds are issued to the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.

Australian Consumer Law Notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
